The bridge is like an entire ecosystem with three species of cormorant each taking a piece of the real estate.
Brandt’s (pictured here) and Pelagic cormorants occupy most of the middle concrete bases of the bridge, while Double-Crested Cormorants tend to dominate the North and South Cribs, as well as the upper reaches of the bridge near the road.
